This decorative basket is fashioned in the fully developed Highland style with stout bars of circular section. The liner helps to prevent chaffing and also gives protection to the users hand. The triangular section, back edged, double fullered blade has a full tang and is made from silicon manganese spring steel that is hardened and tempered to 52-54 Rockwell C.
